Barlborough Bears is a Community Club mainly based at Heritage High School in Clowne, Chesterfield. We manage competitive and recreational programmes in Cheer, Gymnastics, Trampolining, and Dance. We coach children & young adults from age 3 to adult, in all disciplines for recreation, competitions & displays, to the safest & best standards currently in the UK. Coaches are trained and mentored to the highest levels and are all specialists in their discipline. Athletes learn all genuine aspects of cheer, gymnastics, trampolining & dance as part of a team, in a fun & friendly environment, whilst improving fitness, flexibility, social & performance skills.

Bears Cheer Programme was founded in 2010 by Adele McCarthy as a cheer programme. Since 2010 it has grown dramatically; the programme has expanded to now offer opportunities in Gymnastics, Trampolining and all forms of Dance. Staying true to its mission to provide affordable, quality Cheer, Gymnastic and Dance opportunities to our community, welcoming all through our doors and promoting leadership from within. We believe that we have the best coaching staff around at BEARS, all bringing unique experiences and strengths to our programme. We are proud to be the only programme of our kind in Derbyshire.
